Peer Ministry Program

The Peer Ministry Program is for high school youth of the parish.

• The purpose is to provide St. John of the Cross Parish with a team of young people able to minister in areas of retreats, service programs, liturgy, social events, or other areas of need and to train young people to have confidence to minister in the areas listed above as disciples of Christ!

The Program is for confirmed high school students:

• Who wish to share their gifts, talents, and Catholic Christian faith with others especially their peers.
• Who wish to strengthen their own faith and
• Who are seeking a greater personal involvement in our parish.

Peer Ministers will be Commissioned by Father Barry at a Sunday Mass in their junior year of high school and will serve in this ministry during their junior and senior year.
