Father Barry’s Remarks:
Father delivered an upbeat assessment of the Parish.
- Parish is approaching the 1300 family level.
- Parishioners have been very good with their increased offertory
- Apple Harvest festival was a success. Great parish participation added to the exception weather.
- Hours of business have been adjusted at the Parish Center. (Suggestion was made to put new hours on parish web site if not there currently)
Bottom-line: Parish is running well.
Annette Williams gave an update in the Religious Education program. A hardcopy
update was provided at the meeting of significant items. Of note was the recent
Sacrament of Confirmation administered by Bishop Christie Macaluso to 48 of our high
school juniors on Sept. 17th.
Jullian Cipriano gave an update on youth activities. Over 100 members of the parish
attended the Catholic Youth Spectacular on October 14th at Quassy Park. Jullian
mentioned that it was very well attended and it lived up to its name.
Rita Keating gave an update on Pastoral Care
Paul Babarik gave an update on Kof C. Paul thanked Father for his encouraging words
after Mass on the knights. 16 potential new members came forward at the “Coffee and”
sponsored by the Knights after Mass.
Annette Babarik gave an update on her coordination efforts for the monthly Sunday
morning after mass Coffee. Most months are being sponsored and overall reception has
been very positive.
Heidi Shea gave on update of the Pro-life Committee. The Parish was going to have at
least 10 attendees at Carolyn’s Place Annual dinner on Nov. 4th. Archbishop Mansell is
going to be the keynote speaker at the dinner.

Fanning Hall.
