The future of Saint John of the Cross Parish holds great promise thanks, in large measure, to a dedicated group of parishioners, decons and staff.
The Fall Apple Harvest Festival continues to enjoy great success and increasing participation annually. The church and rectory have recently undergone renovations to provide improved facilities for parish activites but, as a result of the increased parishioner involvements and steady growth in our parish population, they are already over-taxed. A Long-Term Planning Committee has been established to assist the Pastor in future planning and potential use of a lovely tract of land off Kelly Road which the parish has owned since it's repurchase from Notre Dame Academy in 1966. A study has identified needs for the future development of a parish center and the long-term need for a larger church.
